Each chapter picks up where the last left off
Chapters run about half an hour, and a Series keeps going for as long as you like or ends at a target you set. The Logbook is Gnothi's running record of your Series, so chapter 40 can remember chapter 3.
Steer what comes next
Add a Series Direction in the Logbook to say where the story should go. The next chapter reads it once, then it's cleared. The premise and topics stay editable in Settings.

Read in the chapter view, hear the included narration, export completed chapters together as an EPUB, or enable an RSS feed after choosing a public tier and confirming your rights. See the publishing guide.
A journal that feeds your Series
Write or dictate an entry, and Gnothi adds a title and summary. Chat with your entries when you want to think something through. A new Series starts with Journal set to Off; connect your whole journal or chosen tags when you create it, or later in Settings.
Write it down
Write about what's on your mind, and a connected Series picks up what you've written. In nonfiction, its chapters teach and explain from it.
Keep a learning journal
Note what clicked and where you got stuck. An audio course ties its segments to what you have been writing about, and a blocker you name today comes before whatever was next.
Riff on your story
Jot down a scene, a character or a what-if. Once your journal is connected, what you write after a chapter goes into planning the next one, so Gnothi works like a ghost-writer drafting from your notes.

What's free, what runs on credits, and what isn't
You don't know how much you'll use it, so you shouldn't pay monthly for it. A chapter runs about $1 in credits, narration included, and every account starts with enough for about four. After that, a one-time $10 top-up adds 1M credits, roughly ten more chapters, and unlocks the three paid capabilities for good. Credits don't expire.
